EASY TO APPLY: Just spread on over any sanded or unsanded cement grout or epoxy grout. Each 8 oz. bottle covers up to 350 square feet for a one coat application. To achieve desired results, a second coat may be necessary. MULTI-USE ENVIRONMENTS: Recommended for interior or exterior applications. Changing grout colors light to dark or dark to light may require an extra application. Consider existing grout color and tile color when choosing a color for your desired outcome. LONG LASTING: Color change lasts up to 15 years. Unopened bottles have a shelf life of 18 months from the date of manufacture. Store in dry, well-ventilated area. QUICK DRYING: Ready for foot traffic in just 3-4 hours. Generally a second coat may be applied after 30 minutes. Keep grout dry and avoid heavy scrubbing for 7 to 10 days. FOR USE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE: Allowing this product to freeze or be exposed to high temperatures long-term, including during transit, can cause changes to the product consistency, making it unusable for application. Application Covers up to 350 sq. ft. /B br br Surface Preparation br Allow new grout installations to cure at least 48 hours or according to grout manufacturer’s cure time. Grout cure can be extended by environmental conditions such as low temperature or high humidity. For heavily soiled, sealed, or old grout, clean grout with a mild acid cleaner, or if acid sensitive tile or stone, use an alkaline based cleaner br br Application br Shake well before using. Test in a small inconspicuous area prior to complete application. Apply in small workable sections. Apply narrow bead of TEC Grout Colorant on the grout joint. Using a toothbrush, or similar applicator, spread product evenly along grout joint with a scrubbing motion. While still wet, wipe off excess from surrounding tile with a damp (not wet) towel or sponge. When product is dry to touch (usually 30-60 minutes), lightly clean the tile with a damp (not wet) towel or sponge to remove haze. Changing grout colors light to dark or dark to light may require an extra application. Two thin coats are better than one heavy coat. br br Drying Time br Depends on temperature, humidity and hardness of the grout. Generally a second coat may be applied after 30 minutes. Light foot traffic after 3-4 hours.
