The 1/2 in. drill/driver is compact at only 6.4 in. in length giving better access to the tightest workspaces and overhead applications. Its also equipped with a brushless motor that delivers up to 400 in./lbs. of torque for maximum power when drilling and driving through tough materials. Other features include a 2-speed gearbox 0-450 and 0-1700 RPM and a 24-position clutch for maximum control while drilling and driving. And for quick bit changes the 1/2 in. single sleeve ratcheting chuck with unique knurling pattern gives you that all important grip. At just 5.3 in. the impact driver is 26% more compact and over 23% lighter than our brushed impact driver. The brushless motor provides up to 1700 in./lbs. of torque and up to 3800 IPM to quickly drive a variety of fasteners. The impact driver features a variable speed trigger for precise control of up to 2900 RPM and a knurled 1/4 in. hex collet with one-handed bit release.
