The Rupes LHR 21ES 6 Inch Backing Plate is factory replacement backing plate for use with the Rupes LHR 21ES Big Foot Random Orbital Polisher. This high quality backing plate was designed by Rupes specifically for this polisher and will not work with other dual-action random orbital polishers. It has been fortified with a deep hook and loop material for secure pad mounting. Rupes Big Foot Polishers utilize a larger stroke to make them highly efficient. The hook and loop material that attaches the Rupes Foam Pads to the backing plate is very deep to provide for a strong grip. Through normal use over time, the hook and loop material may begin to lose grip. Replace your Rupes LHR 21ES Big Foot Random Orbital Polisher’s backing plate with this genuine factory replacement to keep performance levels optimized. Note: The Rupes LHR 21ES 6 Inch Backing Plate will only work with a Rupes LHR 21ES Random Orbital Polisher. It is designed exclusively for Rupes 180 mm (7 inch) Foam Pads. Made in Italy.
