Reliance introduces this propane gas pilot assembly that will greatly aid you. This thermopile LP pilot assembly includes a pilot tube, ferrule nut, ignitor wire, millivolt generator, and bracket. Thermopile monitors gas pilot flame to ensure the pilot is burning. The thermopile closes off gas to the gas valve if it detects a loss of pilot flame. Turn off the gas supply to the water heater before replacing the part. Use this pilot assembly that fits 301 series liquid-propane standard models gas water heater with Honeywell gas control valves only. This water heater pilot assembly is ideal for residential purposes.
