The OXO Softworks 5-Pound Black Food Scale with Pull-Out Display is perfect for weighing ingredients for baking projects, portioning meat and produce and weighing spices accurately. Weigh items directly on the platform, on a plate or in a bowl. The display pulls away from the base to prevent shadowing from large containers and has large, easy-to-read numbers in 1/8-ounce (US) and 1-gram (metric) increments. A weight indicator shows the capacity left on the Scale before you reach the 5-pound maximum. Press the Zero button to offset the weight of a container or to set the weight back to zero before adding additional ingredients. The platform removes for quick cleaning by hand and the Scales thin profile stores easily. Includes four AAA batteries.
