Several safety and comfort features are integrated into the tool, such as a vibration-dampener to protect the batteries from unwanted shaking, a reversible tool hook so you always have the tool close at hand, and rubber overmolding that provides both a soft grip and protection against bumps and shakes. It is powered by the Makita 18V Lithium-Ion line of batteries, so it works with the largest line of 18-volt cordless tools in the market, and it will fit right in with your existing Makita tools.
