The router comes in a fixed base with easy-to-read inch and millimeter depth scales and a rack-and-pinion depth slide for fine-tuned precision. The router fits seamlessly into the plunge, tilt and offset bases that come with the Makita 1-1/4 hp compact router kit. The plunge base has a 1-3/8-inch depth capacity and includes a precision depth adjustment scale with three preset stops. The offset base gets the router to within 3/4 inch of an adjoining right angle. The tilt base gives you an angle range of -30 to 45 degrees.
