The set consists of one of each type of file: a round file, a triangular file, a round file, a half round file and a flat file. With removable handles for tight spaces, they have various shape and teeth formations for specific functions. A flat file has parallel rows of teeth for thickness. A round file, known as a rat tail, has teeth all the way around and is used to enlarge openings. The triangle or taper file can be used to file grooves or sharpen saw teeth. A half round file is for both flat and concave surfaces for non-aggressive material removal and control. The needle file set is for more refined small projects performed by hobbyists, craftsman and jewelers. A storage bag is also included.
