Wood Handle Rubber Mallet delivers a softened strike, protecting parts from indentations and other damage associated with standard metal headed hammers. The rubber mallet assist in cabinet joinery and assembly, furniture assembly for both hardwoods and soft dentable woods. It safely applies enough force for a solid finish without damaging a sensitive finish or surface. This rubber mallet can also be used in applications on chrome, aluminum and magnesium parts on cars, trucks and motorcycles. The durable and lightweight mallet with the classic hardwood handle has a double faced head which minimizes post-strike vibrations and has a simple contoured shape for a comfortable grip in multiple hand positions. Caution is advised in using the mallet under certain conditions which could leave a rubber scuff mark. For these conditions it is best to use a non marring rubber mallet also available on line.
