Snap one end of the grounding cord onto the continuity tester and plug the other end into a grounded outlet. Then, place the continuity tester onto your grounding product and press the button. if the light remains green as you move the tester over the surface of the grounding product then that means it is successfully grounded. Please make sure the grounding product being tested is also plugged into a grounded outlet.
