Freeze Miser with Heavy Duty Brass Hose Connector Faucet- Utilizing a Y valve on your faucet, along with the Freeze Miser allows you to have easy access to your water supply with out having to turn the water off and unscrewing the Freeze Miser each time you need to use your faucet during the winter months. Installation: Simply hand tighten the Y valve on your faucet. Screw the Freeze Miser to one end of the Y valve. Be sure to turn the Freeze Miser side valve to the open position. Turn the Faucet to full open. You are ready to go! Water Hose- Utilizing the Y valve on your water hose, along with the Freeze Miser allows you easy access to your water supply without having to walk bath and forth to turn the water off every time you need to use your hose. Installation: Simply hand tighten the Y valve on the end of your water hose. Screw the Freeze Miser to one end of the Y valve. Be sure to turn the Freeze Miser side valve to the open position. Turn the water faucet to fully open. Important: make sure the Freeze Miser and Y valve connector stay elevated at least 10 inches off the ground to ensure the FM will sense the water temperature in the hose when not in use. The Freeze Miser will protect up to 150 feet of hose. RV- Utilizing the Y valve and Freeze Miser on your RV allows to you have access to your water supply with out using a heated hose (uses Electricity) The Freeze Miser does not use any electricity or batteries. Installation: Simply hand tighten the Y valve to the end of your water hose. Screw the Freeze Miser to one end of the Y valve. Then screw the other end of the Y valve into your water inlet to the RV. Note: Be sure to turn both valves to the open position. Turn water faucet to full open. Note: If your RV has a recessed water connection, you will need a 3 to 4 ft. hose depending on the height of your RV. Attach the hose to the Y valve, run it out of the recessed area and attach the Freeze Miser to the end of the hose. Make sure the Freeze Miser stays at least 10 inches off the ground to ensure the Freeze Miser can sense the water in the hose.
