DuraVent 6DP-36 DuraPlus Chimney Pipe

The DuraVent DuraPlus chimney is designed to stay cool on the outside, but to also provide a hot draft on the inside. The DuraPlus can also boost stove efficiency and provides for a fire-safe design that protects both the chimney and the building. This triple-wall chimney is made from stainless steel and features two insulating layers (ceramic blanket plus air space). The DuraPlus chimneys ceramic blanket insulation is held securely in position eliminating hot spots common with loose-fill type insulation. In the event of a creosote fire, the compressible blanket insulation permits the chimney liner to expand outwardly in a radial direction. Designed for normal and continuous operation at 1000掳F, the DuraPlus chimney is ideal for wood stoves, fireplaces, furnaces, boilers, stoves, ranges, as well as water heaters that are fueled by wood, oil, coal, or gas. In order to best calculate the installed length for your application, subtract 1-1/2 in from each length of pipe to accommodate overlapped edges.
