Schneider Electric / Square D 2-Pole General duty safety switch employs quick-make quick-break operating mechanism for positive operation. It has power rating of 10 hp at 240 VAC that is suitable for motor applications. Switch is ideal for residential as well as commercial applications where economy is main consideration. It is suitable for lighting air conditioning and appliances. It measures 7.750 Inch x 3.750 Inch x 9.630 Inch. It has a voltage rating of 240 VAC and current rating of 60 Amps. It accommodates #10 – #2 AWG size aluminum wire #14 – #2 AWG copper wire. Non-fusible switch features visible blades and comes with lugs connection for convenience. The two-wire general duty switch has tangential combination knockouts. The insulated bonded solid neutral assemblies provide durability. Switch features spring reinforced plated copper fuse clips for high conductivity. It has cover padlock hasp and handle lock OFF for easy use. It offers over-current and short circuit protection when equipped with fuses. Switch works as service equipment when used with either a factory-installed solid neutral assembly or a field-installed equipment grounding kit. Safety switch is rainproof as well as sleet/ice proof. It has NEMA 3R enclosure for protection. Safety switch is UL listed.
