Dixie Belle Silk Paint

Dixie Belle New Silk line is the perfect clean finish on furniture for reclaimers! A water based Resin/Acrylic Paint. Mildew and Grease Resistant, water resistant and has a built in top coat plus primer plus it protects from UV rays with a 30 day cure time. Clean your piece thoroughly with White Lightening and make sure your piece is dry before painting. Scuff lightly then start painting with a dry brush (no water is used unless spraying) Using a synthetic brush (I prefer Chalk Pro), spread paint on piece using long even strokes with minimal back stroking. If you use a sprayer, 10% dilution is suggested. You can still use transfers, wax, glaze, etc however – blending may be harder to achieve. If you have a high gloss piece – Slick Stick is still recommended. If you have a piece that bleed through or will not come clean (yellowing of rinse clothes), BOSS is still recommended.
