This wheel was designed for the 2005-2016 5.9L & 6.7L Cummins stock turbo. -Greatly improves throttle response -Increased Horsepower -Lower EGTs -Easy installation – no modifications needed -Increased boost Important tips: Holset turbos use two different style nuts holding the wheel on. If it is a 6 point nut, then tighten to 133 in/lbs. If it is a 12 point nut, then tighten to 124 in/lbs. It is a left hand thread (reverse thread), meaning you turn the nut to the right to loosen. DO NOT USE AN IMPACT WRENCH TO CHANGE TURBO WHEELS! Impact wrenches cause stress fractures in the shaft that will cause failure either very soon or thousands of miles down the road. It’s like a crack in your windshield that grows over time. Take your time and remove the turbo, hold onto the turbine shaft and remove the compressor wheel with an open end wrench.
