The dryer vent kit includes a louvered vent hood that operates quietly for maximum exhaust air flow, 4 inch x 8′ fire-resistant UL Listed 2158A Supurr-Flex clothes dryer transition duct, one metal worm drive clamp, a duct connector with protector, and Deflectos proprietary Airtight Fusion Seam technology vent pipe. The louvered vent hood is durable, weather-resistant and includes a UV inhibitor to prevent sun damage and cracking. The unique duct connector helps prevent flexible aluminum duct from being crushed behind the dryer, which can cause lint build-up, unsafe dryer operation and longer drying times. The Airtight Fusion Seam vent pipe improves air flow and appliance efficiency to help reduce drying times and prevents moisture from entering into your walls by preventing air leakage during the venting process. Deflecto’s patented Airtght Fusion Seam technology sets the new standard for venting products.
