The Better Homes and Gardens Motion sensing Light Control allows you to plug in any lighting product, and have it turn on when the sensor detects motion, and automatically turns off when motion is no longer detected (can be set for 30 second, 1 minute, or 5 minute shut-off intervals). With a neutral matte white finish, this motion sensor color-watches great in hallways, bathrooms, kitchens or bedrooms where a switch is not easily accessible, or easy to find in the dark. Great for garages and workshops. Works with lamps, tape light, rope light, any fixture that plugs into a 120v outlet. The motion sensor is on a 6 FT. cord, for strategic placement. Comes with two mounting screws. The motion sensor is damp location rated, so it can be used outdoors as long as the plug is in a covered area, and the outlet you are using is installed and covered per the NEC where it is not exposed to perception.
