Factory replacement for the Advanced Pure Air ‘Air Shield’ Air Purifier, these HEPA air filters remove 99.97% of particles down to 0.3 microns. That’s almost 300 times smaller than the width of a human hair. Activated carbon filters trap odors and chemicals in highly absorbent granules. Additional anti-formaldehyde catalytic beads protect against the harmful vapors from flooring and common home materials. By far the most effective filters against cigarette smoke, this replacement is also very effective against everything from toilet odors to pet smells. HEPA air filters are recommended by the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security and are used in passenger jets and by the military.
