Polaris UWF Connector Assembly – 9-100-9001 is made up of 4 total yet different and unique parts that when combined make up the universal wall fitting connector assembly. You have the UWF itself, then the UWF quick disconnect that houses the pressure relief valve, and finally there are the restrictor disks. These disks are different sizes so that way the correct pressure can be adjusted to match the pressure needed for the cleaner to operate. the disk may not be required depending on the design of the pool, check the owner’s manual for further details. Most of these parts are white except for the restrictor disks, they come in red and blue. This assembly controls the amount of pressurized water that is flowed through the feed and the leader hoses and finally into the cleaner. This gives it the ability to suck and pull up dirt, debris, and other forms of mulch off the pool’s surface.
