Allows the joining of 2 sections of pipe, well screen or casing without increasing the outside diameters of the pipe. Ideal for well point installation, external couplings hang-up while going down. Having cut your drain pipe too close to the wall for external coupling or if you have fittings glued together around your pool and spa and didn t leave room to use external couplings, use the internal couplings.
