Description
The Elkay 98466C Solenoid Valve Kit is the replacement Solenoid, regulator and nut for Elkay EZ series water coolers. The Solenoid is the part of the water cooler that controls the flow of water when the button or bar is pushed. Because this is done through an electrical current a good way to know if your Solenoid need to be replaced is through a simple test. If you are having issues with your water flow not turning off, unplug it after the water is “stuck” on. If the water continues to flow your solenoid has gone bad and will need to be replaced.
