Non-Metallic switch and outlet box is designed for use with non-metallic sheathed cable in accordance with Article 314 of the National Electric Code. It is great for residential and light commercial applications, the box is made with PVC, it is listed for use in masonry walls and can be used with 90 degree Celsius conductors. The box mounts securely with mounting ears and swing clamps. The plastic boxes are durable, impact resistant thermoplastic boxes available in a full range of sizes and complemented by innovative extras that cut installation time short. The location of the ribs enable the installer to quickly and accurately maintain a 1/2 inch offset for sheetrock and make it easy to keep the face of the box parallel to the stud. This item eliminates the need for separate cable clamps as well as the tools usually needed for installation.
