The Dayton 3M778 is a 1/20 HP continuous duty, open air-over motor that replaces 1/50 HP PSC and shaded-pole motors with lower efficiency in HVAC/R applications. This Dayton HVAC motor can also be used in direct drive fan/blower environments. The nameplate RPMs are 1550 and voltage is 115. The frame is a 3.3 with a service factor of 1.0, full load amps of 1.8, 60 Hz, with CWSE rotation. The insulation is rated at Class B with a maximum ambient temperature of 40 degrees C. This single-speed unit with mounting stud utilizes sleeve bearings, automatic thermal protection and has a body diameter of 3.3″, shaft diameter of 5/16″, shaft length of 2″, length less shaft of 3-5/16″. The stud location is SE, the stud/base mounting pattern is 2 x 2″, and this unit is a single phase with an RPM range of 1501-1600.
