Fiberock brand Aqua-Tough underlayment provides a smooth, uniform surface that is an excellent substrate for various floor covering installations. The Aqua-Tough technology features a uniform, specially engineered composition for superior water and mold resistance, through and through. Fiberock brand Aqua-Tough underlayment surpasses traditional plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), and lauan underlayments in retaining dimensional stability. Made of 95% recycled material, the underlayment offers an environmentally friendly alternative to wood-based underlayments. This versatile product may be used in both wet and dry areas throughout an entire home, under vinyl, ceramic tile, carpeting, wood, or laminate flooring. Panels simply score and snap with minimal effort for easy sizing and installation. Product is not intended for use on walls or ceilings, areas with prolonged exposure to standing water, directly installed over concrete subfloors, or heavily cushioned, thick-foam backed, or perimeter-adhered vinyl flooring. For ceramic tile applications underlayment must be bonded using mortar of adhesive and mechanically fastened to the subfloor. 1/4″ thick x 3′ W. x 5′ L.
