Screw tip Forstner bits require less downward pressure and stay on-line better as the leading screw tip draws the larger bodied multi-spur bit into workpeice. These 4-5/8 in. bits have tapered screw tips that are adjustable for variable bite. They come with a1/2 in. hex shanks and a black oxide finish.
