Made for personal workshops the Wilton 3-Inch Adjustable Angle Drill Press Vise is designed specifically for the needs of drilling. There are all kinds of clamps and vises that can hold something in place but there aren’t many that work well with a drill press. That’s because drilling with an ordinary vise runs the risk of drilling through the ‘throat’ section in between the 2 jaws. But this workbench vise was made with a gap in its throat so you can safely drill through it without causing any damage. Another thing that sets this vise grip apart is how you can set it to different angles. By using a tommy bar on the side of the vise you can set it in 1-degree increments between 0 and 90 degrees. The vise also has a pin-slot system that you can use to quickly set angles in 15-degree increments. Being able to angle the vise in this way means you can easily drill holes into materials at an angle opening up the possibilities for different kinds of projects. This vise is made with a cast iron body that provides the durability to withstand heavy workshop applications. It also gives the vise a good amount of weight which keeps things stable while you’re trying to drill.
