The RTS 400 REQ detail sander features a more powerful 250W motor, edge guard, new locking dust port, rubberized grip and larger switch for improved ergonomics. Ideal for removing paint or other finish, or sanding window and door frames, panelling on a workbench or installed prior to finishing. Sand right up to adjacent surfaces The orbital motion allows the sander to get right into corners without damaging the adjacent surface. Use the Protector to protect adjacent surfaces from accidental pad contact, or remove it for sanding right into the corner. Compact and lightweight With a compact form factor, this sander is deal for working on flat, vertical, and overhead surfaces. It weighs only 2.4 pounds. The motor is balanced and grip rubberized to reduce fatigue during long sanding sessions. Easy to control The 2 millimetre orbital motion provides good control on edges and into corners. A true finish sander The MMC Electronics provide step-less variable speed and 250 watts of power. Paired with a short 2.0 mm stroke, this sander provides a super-fine surface.
