About the Fantech IR6 6″ Duct Manual Iris Damper Installing a dump damper gives you more control over the amount of air flow allowed to pass through your ducting. The damper will open or close allowing you to set a regulated level. This is important when trying to control temperatures mix air or spit air flow into multiple areas evenly. The Fantech IR6 is 6 in diameter and fits other standard 6 flexible and rigid ducting.
