This design feature is recommended for marine and foodservice applications with a specific filter size requirement. Ruud installs this option at the factory and coverts your existing refrigeration unit into a custom, space-saving, external filter system. For best results, this 21 in. External Intallation Kit should be used with the Ruud – The RUUD 21 External Filter Rack is made of sturdy steel. The RUUD 21 external filter has an aluminum frame with corrosion resistant epoxy paint and stainless steel hardware. – THERRX External Filter Rack is engineered to provide a simple solution to run an external filter for your Ruud unit. It is designed with four support braces and mounted with stainless steel hardware. – The RXHF-21 filter rack is a Ruud, Lennox and an American Standard Certified filter. This filter also fits other external filter racks with dimensions 18.5 x 3.5 x 10”.
