These Filtrete basic air filters come in packs of 2 and will improve the air quality in your home. They hold a rating of MERV 5 and are meant for residential use only. For optimal performance, you should change your filter at least every 90 days. The reason is simple: a dirty filter will slow down airflow and make the system work harder to keep you warm or cool, thus wasting energy. This model measures 20 inches x 20 inches x 1 inch. These flat filters are non-electrostatic and capture both lint and household dust.
