This above-ground pool cartridge filter system is easy to install hook up to the hoses and plug in the pump. The Intex 1000 GPH filter pump is designed for all 10, 12, 14, 15 and 16 foot units. It is also suitable for Sand-n-Sun, Aqua-Leisure and other varieties with 1.25 inch diameter connections. The GFCI (ground fault circuit interrupter) feature on the above ground pool cartridge filter system provides additional safety and protection. It shuts off automatically if the electrical current is exposed to water.
